As a former director of Ernst & Young Consulting, Unisys, EDS and Chase Manhattan Bank, he has over 30 years of executive and consulting experience with global organizations. He is a certified Project Management Professional PMP, the director for the Risk Management Special Interest Group, and a member of the Board of PMI Educational Foundation in the US.
He holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, having participated in the Project Management Program of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and in the Managing Business Transformation Program of the Harvard Business School.
As a contributor of the PMI Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, he has conducted consulting assignments, presentations, workshops and seminars in Latin America, United States and Europe for more than 3,000 participants in the areas of Strategy, Project Management, Risk Management and Crisis Prevention, directly, or through partnering with renowned consulting firms to leading organizations including: Anglo American, Accenture, Camargo Correa, Caterpillar, Degussa, Line4/Yellow, Merck, Nokia,Nortel, Queiroz Galvao, Oracle, SAP and many more.
